Back-to-School Supplies

In early August 2026, Warm Hearts helped local students start the new school year prepared and ready to learn by distributing 26 backpacks filled with school supplies.

The backpacks supported students of all ages—from our youngest learners to those pursuing higher education: 12 students in Pre-K through Grade 5, 2 students in Grades 6–8, 7 high school students, and 5 college students.

We’re grateful to be able to support students in our community as they begin another year of learning and growth.

Summer Camp Scholarships

This summer, Warm Hearts of Stow helped 13 local children, ages 5–12, enjoy four weeks of summer camp! Seven children attended Camp Stow, while six took part in the summer program at the Assabet Valley Boys & Girls Club.

These scholarships gave children the opportunity to spend their summer days outdoors, active, and connected—making new friends, discovering new interests, building skills, and creating happy summer memories away from screens. We’re delighted to have helped make a fun and enriching summer camp experience possible for these children and their families.

Warmth & Holiday Cheer for Local Families

In fall and winter 2025, Warm Hearts helped 19 local children stay warm by providing essential winter clothing, including coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and mittens.

In December, our Holiday Gift Program supported 66 families and 135 community members, with Warm Hearts purchasing gifts from wish lists submitted by participating families.

We are deeply grateful to the Stow community. Thanks to the generosity of local individuals, organizations, and businesses, donations to our annual Holiday Gift Fundraiser fully funded the gift program and helped make the season brighter for our neighbors.

Thanksgiving Support for Local Families

In November 2025, Warm Hearts helped 60 local families celebrate Thanksgiving by providing grocery gift cards to help cover the cost of their holiday meals.

The program gave families the flexibility to choose the foods that best suited their Thanksgiving traditions and needs, helping make the holiday a little easier and more joyful.

Sharing a Little Love on Valentine’s Day

Warm Hearts celebrated Valentine’s Day by delivering Valentine cards and small goodie bags to 45 local seniors and shut-ins.

It was a simple way to share some joy, connection, and a reminder that our neighbors are remembered and cared for.

Celebrating Easter & Passover

Warm Hearts helped 60 local families celebrate Easter and Passover by providing grocery gift cards to purchase ingredients for a special holiday meal.

Families with young children also received Walmart gift cards to help fill their Easter baskets with treats and goodies, adding a little extra joy to the celebration.
